Vienna’s population makes increasing use of the underground, trams and buses as a result of our efforts to continually expand the public transport network, particularly with regards to our work on extending the underground network. However, the fact that they do this willingly is due in no small part to the extremely customer-friendly services offered by Wiener Linien.
The raison d’être of Wiener Linien is to ensure that Vienna’s population is as mobile as possible. However, we consider there to be more to this than simply the physical scope of our means of transport.
